Historically TPM has provided country-specific teams of experienced CRAs, headed by a regional project manager, who can perform all the activities necessary to get a study started as quickly and efficiently as possible. These teams report into study-specific project managers who in turn report directly to the study sponsor.
An emphasis on cost-effectiveness in clinical research is not new for TPM. We have pioneered a management structure by which TPM has no head office or permanent employees, relying instead on freelance talent based usually in their home offices. This approach has resulted in very low turnover and the maintenance of teams from one study moving onto the next.
Looking to the future, TPM is now looking to capitalise on the accumulated talent and knowledge in our region. We have strong overall management based in the UK and this, combined with our regional managers and local networks, allows us to provide trained and experienced individuals or teams within each of our countries. Our flexibility means we can recruit and outsource individual CRAs of specific expertise or experience, train inexperienced CRAs to specified levels of performance or provide fully managed teams of CRAs to work on your project. Another aspect of our organisation is that we can offer specific core services or manage services which are not performed in-house. |
